One of the best early days out was visiting the city of Gouda.
Apparently, the cheese wasn't made in Gouda. The name originates from the cheese makers coming to Gouda to weigh, grade and sell their cheeses at the cheese market in the Grote Markt.

The Cheese Market is now held on Thursdays from April to August in the Central Square
