The Pont Saint-Benezet or Pont D'Avignon is now only a partial bridge but once spanned the Rhone and was a major trading route. There is a brilliant and informative museum at the bridge which tells visitors all about the known history of the bridge and what they have discovered through archaeology. You can also walk along the remains of the bridge and see the chapel where Saint Benezet remains are interned. The bridge offers some great photo opportunities.
