After a lovely morning walking around the castle in Epinal. We set off again towards Mulhouse. This drive would take me through the Alsace mountains. Amazing views, very Swiss looking houses set in the slopes and very wiggly windy. This was in such stark contrast to the almost 2 months in the very flat Netherlands!
Christina has often asked about the clouds and is now trying to understand how we could be driving so close to them up in the mountains.
Mulhouse is a huge city and famous for trains. It houses the largest train museum in Europe. There is also a car museum with the largest collection of Bugattis.
Once again we arrived at a campsite in the rain - but the forecast is looking dry for the next couple of days!
