We were only booked to stay in Epinal for 2 nights, so on our last day we set off down the path towards the amazing park. We had enjoyed the green section with the playground and animals yesterday.
Today, I wanted to go to the orange area to check out the castle ruins.
The castle is now in ruins but is completely free to visit and wander around. Because it is built on a hill, there were fantastic views of the surrounding scenery and Epinal itself.
A lovely place to wander around and in the summer to go for a picnic!
