Mulhouse is on the border with Germany and is most famous for trains. We visited the Cite Du Train Museum which is home to the largest collection of trains in Europe. It is a huge place and literally walked the legs of me!
The museum has exhibits showing the history of train travel from Victorian times right up to the modern TGV and looking ahead to the next generation of trains.
It was a fascinating place to visit, both Christina and I love any opportunity to go on steam trains, mini trains and at this museum we went on 3 different mini trains around the museum and its grounds.
All in all a fab day out - recommended place to visit!
